Halloween Day!

Hey guys! Welcome back to the blog. I have a big event coming up next Friday. Yes, that is Halloween. October 31, 2014 Santa Fe will be hosting all kinds of events leading up to the saint’s basketball Tip-Off-Classic. The Tip-off Classic is a basketball tournament that the Santa Fe saints host every year around this time to start the season off. This year it just happened to land on Halloween day, which happens to come with a lot of perks, and will end the next day on November 1, 2014. The actual basketball games will not begin until 4:00 p.m. that day. The men’s basketball team will start off by playing against Impact Academy, followed by Central Florida versus Miami Dade College (women’s basketball), and then your very own lady saints against IMG Academy at 6:00 p.m. The women’s basketball team will be signing autographs at 4:00p.m. At our Santa Fe zoo.

Another event that will be going on Halloween day is Boo at the Zoo. This is Santa Fe’s 20th annual Boo at the Zoo. It will be held obviously at Santa Fe zoo from 3:00p.m.-7:30p.m. Volunteers are needed for this event. If you are interested you must attend an orientation that is being held one week prior to the event. If you are not interested in volunteering and just want to help, please feel free to donate candy. Note that all candy must be individually wrapped, unopened bags labeled with donors name, department, and phone number. If you have any questions or need more info about Boo at the zoo, contact Michele Hagen by phone at 352-395-5633 or email.

There will also be a tailgating party held right before the basketball games begin. The tailgate will include free food, drinks, and music. So if you don’t have any plans for Halloween day please feel free to stop by and checkout at least one of these events that are going on if not all. Thank You, and see you there!
